On 19 November, the Latvian Team Championship in 100-payline checkers took place, with 12 teams participating. The game was played in 8 rounds according to the Swiss system with time control of 12 minutes + 5 seconds per move.
The winners of the competition were “Bauskas Prātnieks” team, consisting of Reinis Štāls, Jevgeņijs Matvejevs, Jānis Štāls and Everts Rūdolfs Lepsis.
The second place went to “Rīgas Namu apsaimniekotājs dambretes klubs” (Riga House Management Checkers Club), which consisted of Yakov Levin, Arkady Bersson, Igor Trubko and Oleg Malugin.
The third place, thanks to better extra scores, went to the second team of “Dobeles Prāta spēļu klubs”, whose success was achieved by Gunārs Gribuška, Ričards Osītis, Gatis Kļava and Viesturs Štelmahers.
