Antra Valnere (Ropaži) became the Latvian Veteran Women’s Champion and won the gold medal with 7 points. The second place went to Zoya Uvačana (Rīgas Sporta veterānu klubs), who won the silver medal with 6 points.
Guntis Valneris (Jūrmala) became the Latvian Veteran Men’s Champion in the 50+ age group and won the gold medal, scoring 16 points out of 16 possible. The second place went to Igor Trubko (RNA Dambretes Klubs), who won 11 points out of 16 possible. The bronze medal went to Raimonds Miller (Baltais Kauliņš), who scored 10 points out of a possible 16.
The Latvian Veteran Men’s Champion in the 70+ age group was Gunārs Zālītis (Salaspils), who won 10 points out of 16 possible. The second place went to Jānis Lelis (Rīgas Sporta veterānu klubs), who won 8 points out of 16 possible. The bronze medal went to Tālivaldis Rūmītis (Dobele PSK), who also scored 8 points out of 16 possible.
